Do I need a visa to go to Mauritius?

People travelling on a British Passport do not need a visa to enter Mauritius. However, your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay and you must be able to provide evidence of return or onward travel. Customs will then stamp your passport which will validate entry for 60 days.

 

What’s the time difference in Mauritius?

Mauritius is three hours ahead of the UK – GMT + 4 hours.

 

How long will it take me to fly to Mauritius?

Most direct flights take 12 hours, but if you’re stopping over in Dubai or South Africa, your journey will take longer.

 

When is the best time to go to Mauritius?

The best time to visit the island is between the months of April and June and between September and December. The latter is peak season and the temperature will be warmest during this period.
