The MTPA is collaborating with different partners to promote green tourism and sports tourism to portray the vibrancy of the destination. It will be a major platform to bring together sports persons, sports professionals and potential clients to best capture adventures and trails. During these events, visitors will discover Mauritius’ landscapes and biodiversity through nature trails and other sports activities. Mauritius is accentuating its image as an eco-friendly island.
The Standard Bank Royal Raid
The Royal Raid is the first trail organised by Racing Republic. This will be held on 9 May 2020 at La Place du Moulin, Bel Ombre, Mauritius. This wonderful human adventure will allow trail runners to discover exceptional routes and the sumptuous landscapes of the south-west of the island. For its 15th edition, the Royal Raid proposes three separate and simultaneous races:
- Royal Raid 70: 70 km to complete in less than 17 hours
- Royal Raid 40: 40 km to complete in less than 09 hours
- Royal Raid 15: 15 km to complete in less than 05 hours
- Royal Raid 8: 8 km to complete in less 04 hours

Dodo Trail
The Dodo Trail offers three fabulous track crossing from the South to the West coast of Mauritius. This will be held on Sunday 5 July 2020 at Au Morne. Lovers of trails will have the opportunity to choose between the Xtreme Dodo Trail-50 KM, the Ti Dodo Trail-25 KM and the Mini Dodo Trail-10 KM.
For its 2019 edition, a total of 1,350 trailers participated.

Ultra Trail Raidlight Beachcomber (UTRB)
The Ultra Trail Raidlight is an invitation for local and international runners to discover the most breathtaking sceneries of Mauritius. This will be held on Saturday 25 July 2020 and Sunday 26 July 2020 at Le Morne Public Beach. The first four editions of UTRB have been a huge success and more participants are expected for this event.

Heritage Trail Festival
Organised by the Racing Republic, Heritage Trail will be the first unique trail festival in Mauritius. For its 4th edition, this will take place on 15 to 16 August during the weekend at La Place du Moulin, Bel Ombre. A detailed program will be proposed to the runners with the opportunity to combine two races. The races formats are: 55 KM, 25 KM & 12 KM.

Ciel Ferney Trail
Ciel Ferney Trail is one of the oldest and favored trail in Mauritius. It is scheduled on 12 September 2020 at La Vallée de Ferney. This will be a unique experience in the mountain ranges of the south-east of the island to discover natural sanctuaries. The trail consists of four categories of races: 4 KM, 10KM, 20KM and 50 KM.

Kestrail
Kestrail is back again for its 3rd edition and will be held on 28 November 2020 at Chazal Ecotourism Park, Chamouny. The race formats set are: 5KM, 12.5 KM & 20 KM. In collaboration with Air Mauritius, the Kestrail being the last trail of our calendar will also reserve a lot of surprises for the participants and winners at the end.
